   @jonnygan88 Its all to do with how the keys are positioned.
   in a major chord the 1st and 3rd notes are 4 notes apart from each other (inluding the black keys) – In a minor chord its 3 notes apart.

   Look at the way the keyboard is laid out and you’ll see that the distance from C to E is 4 notes …. BUT from A to C is only 3 notes. That’s why it is minor.

   could someone explain when he plays A minor its not called an A major and yet still uses the white keys only, i assumed that a minor chord included the middle key to be a black key

   I literally just dusted off a keyboard, sat it in front of a computer, fiddled around a bit then searched piano for beginners and watched this and I already have real notes to practice …thank you. I have no idea how people existed before the internet, google and youtube came along.

   Thank You Sooo Much I used to play the piano when 5 and left it lost everything and i thought i could never play again bc it gets harder wen u get older but this was the most helpful video i have found yet!
